The Annual Blitz Competition 2016
at
Frankfield, Pétanque, Cork
Everything went very well at the Blitz and the competitors from Bath and Dublin who haven’t been with us before, were very pleased that they’d come. They really enjoyed the competition and its organisation. They loved the dinner and were very impressed by the music and song provided by Peter (guitar and voice), Catherine (harp + voice), Padraic di Fusco (guitar, voice and piano), and Jackie, Patrick, Jim and Martin Ryan (voice).

All the visitors are talking about returning next year. After the prize-giving, Ken Barnes (Bath) made a quite moving speech in which he thanked us for a really well organised and most enjoyable weekend of competition. He thanked us for our generous welcome and highly complimented the entertainment at the dinner.
