So there we were, swinging in the Rain at the Easter Doubles Competition on 8 April. Yes, it was “moist” for a couple of hours and the poor weather resulted in a somewhat reduced number of participants’ but the bulk of the original entry turned up to brave the conditions and we had a very enjoyable day with excellent play. First place went to Philippe Udron and Jim di Fusco, second came Stephanie Kavanagh and Paul Murray, third were Peter Powell Berz and Jackie Broderick.
