Frankfield Pétanque Cork

The competition was well attended and we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day.

The competition organisation was superbly run by the Club secretary Tricia, Paul our voluntary referee kept a close eye on the score and tally, and the umpire Cathal was at his best. The pistes and the setup were excellent ,thanks to Michael.

The level of play was well above average, every players gave their best performance, congratulations to all attendees.

The winner and Club champion for 2025 is Patrick Ruff.

The second place was taken by Cathal O’Boyle.

Well done to all concerned, the semi finals and final were very exciting, the supporters were not disappointed by the level of play.

Frankfield Pétanque club hosted the IPA Munster Doubles Competition,

with 15 teams competing on a very wet day, but didn’t discouraged the hardy petanquers.

Patrick Ruff& Jim Ryan took home the Gold Medals as winners of Munster Doubles.

Jimmy& René Di Fusco took the Silver Medals as second.

The Rebels, Ollivier & Philippe were third, and Waterford Yaan & Debra were fourth.

The Frankfield pétanque club supporters also braved the element.

On a beautiful spring and sunny day Frankfield pétanque club held

they spring competition, well done to all participants.
